Delta Cultura Educational Center has been conducting since November 19th, 2015, an Artistic Workshop with children who are participants from the programs. The workshop is being held in partnership with a local volunteer called Tam, who has been giving a support the center on art classes.

The purpose of the workshop is to teach these children to make cars with used plastic bottles. Recycling has been one of our areas of intervention in art programs, and it is in this line that this Workshop was conducted and comes elapsing successfully.

Children collect all the used plastic bottles they find at home or on the streets. Then, they bring these bottles to the center, where they reuse it on making cars from them. The cars are made entirely from those bottles, which are cut, joined, painted and customized according to the creativity of each.
