Delta Cultura Educational Centre (DCEC) and its library, which is part of the Football for Hope Centre, which was inaugurated recently, received from the Delegation of the Ministry of Education and Sport of Tarrafal (DMEST) around 700 books.
These books a vary from school books, Reading books and research books which will be very useful and helpful to more

Edna Suzeth (DCEC Library Responsable), Amado (DMEST), José dos Reis (DMEST Delegate), Florian Wegenstein (DCEC Project Manager)
than 200 children who participate in the programs of DCEC as well as to other locals who visit the centre often times for reading purposes.
It must be appointed here that apart from this donation, the DCEC and the DMEST are about to sign an agreement focused on different areas of education since that the two institutions prioritize education in its all sense. Also, it cannot put aside the great psychological support to the participants of DCEC twice per week provided by the same DMEST.
Also, apart from the great help of DMEST with the books, it is clearly seen that the library is still lacking some books, as magazines, newspaper and other Reading materials, to be used for the good functioning of DCEC.
Therefore, if you have a book, a magazine, a newspaper at home that you have not been using, make sure you donate it to the DCEC library or just get in touch with us and we will come by to pick it up at your home or somewhere else.
The DCEC library is currently opened to the locals, from Monday to Friday, at 08:00h to 12:00 for the morning shift and at 14:00 to 17:00 for the afternoon shift.
So, if you have a reading habit, just come visit the DCEC library and enjoy some of our books or simply to know DCEC and its programs better.
