Our two interns from the Social Academy of Vienna, Anna and Julia, are at the end of their 3-month stay in Tarrafal. We have taken the opportunity of their presence and asked them to organize a 2-day staff training. This has taken place this week and we have learned about the different learning styles, about dealing with violence, about usefull and useless punishments, about usefull and useless rules for children, about usefull and useless praise and some further issues. In various group activities, we have the content of our work are important zukünfigte worked together. We are pleased to be continuing to improve our work with children and youth of the community Tarrafal.
