Delta Cultura Educational Centre has been conducting lately workshop sessions on ceramics with its participants.

The workshop is conducted by a Portuguese volunteer, Marta Correia, who came to give her contribution to Delta Cultura’s programs, as a volunteer for one month.

As clay is one of the most abundant natural resource found in Cape Verde, the workshop has as its goal to teach children and youth more about clay, about how to use it, how to make materials with it, etc. The workshop happens from Monday to Friday, in the morning and afternoon, and it involves around 100 participants between boys and girls.
