Thanks to an invitation from our partner streetfootballworld Florian has participated in the 3-day Beyond Sport Summit in London. This annual conference, hosts lectures, workshops and award ceremonies around the theme of sport for social development. We received the invitation because M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) was one of the themes of a workshop and Delta Cultura in this respect is part of the InFocus program and is in the process of implementing a software and new, creative methods to measure success. The experience of Delta Cultura in the first months of this program were part of that workshop. Furthermore, the 3 days of Beyond Sport offered interessting lectures and of course plenty of opportunities for networking. New contacts are made and new ideas have been given a first impulse. We want to thank streetfootballworld for this invitation and opportunity! Last part of the Beyond Sport event were several award ceremonys with famous people like David Beckham, Muhamed Ali and Michael Johnson. The best organisations from the sport for development field were awarded. Delta Cultura wants to congratulate the winners. Especially the two network members of streetfootballworld: Amandla EduFootball from Southafrica and GOALS Haiti.
