As one of 20 organisations Delta Cultura Cabo Verde was invited by FIFA to the 3-day Football for Hope Forum. The conference took place in Kasan in the end of June 2017. Delta Cultura was represented by project manager Florian Wegenstein. In various workshops the participants discussed different themes around the topic football for social change. The main issues that were elaborated were how the Football for Hope Movement could participate even more in social change and how football can participate in reaching the UN sustainable development goals. The entertainment highlight was the visit of the semi-final of the confederations cup Chile against Portugal. Delta Cultura wants to say thank you to FIFA, especialy to all the members of the CSR department, for this invitation.
