Nearly 6 months our wood turning professional training for young mothers is in operation now. The workshop develops well and starts to get known. Salsa and Neusa the managers of the workshop, are present on various art markets on the island. Like this we don’t only sell the manufactured cans, plates, vases and different toys we also gather some good contacts. For example to a Capeverdean who lives in Holland and wants to sell art from the islands there and who is interessted in our products.
Like this we are on the way to build a sustainable carpenter shop which – besides professional training –  also will be able to partipate to the running costs of the center.
