It is confirmed that FIFA has invited two representatives of Delta Cultura Cabo Verde for the Football for Hope Forum 2013 in their capacity as representatives of the Delta Cultura Cape Verde. This official event of the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 will be organized by FIFA, the 2014 FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee Brazil and the Host City of Belo Horizonte.

For four days, professionals and stakeholders from around the world will gather to explore the commitment of football to social development and to help determine the way forward for Football for Hope. This official event of the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 will be held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil from 26 to 29 June 2013. Participation is on invitation only and there is no registration fee. The organizers will cover the costs of accommodation, transport and catering in Belo Horizonte for the days of the event. FIFA will also provide travel support for selected participants. The Football for Hope Forum is a unique opportunity to interact and share experiences with the world’s leading professionals in development through Football – from grassroots organizations working at community level to sports governing bodies, global corporations and development institutions. The program will include presentations, workshops and training sessions covering the most important issues related to football’s contribution to social development as well as the legacy of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil^TM. Other activities will include cultural program in Belo Horizonte and attendance at one of the semi-finals of the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013. The contribution of the two representatives will be essential for the success of the Football for Hope Forum 2013.
