Delta Cultura Cabo Verde conducted this Sunday, March 9^th, a symbolic distribution of 2300 football balls donated by One World Futbol Project Organization.

The ceremony took place in Tarrafal, in Covão Sanches in particular, and it counted with the participation of many beneficiary public and private institution and a massive number of community people who went to the event.

The delivery event was contextualized on the celebration event of the 11^th anniversary of the Group Batucadeiras of Delta Cultura, which is also part of Delta Cultura’s Project.

The delivery event had as highlight the distribution of one ball to each of the 220 active participants of the Delta Cultura Educational Centre. The happiness and joy was clearly seen in the smiles that children and youths were showing and they took the opportunity to enjoy it by playing and sharing the moment with other children and youths from the community.

Still, the event was marked by the distribution of the balls to the private and public institutions, football schools, associations, among other institutions that were included in the distribution plan created and organized by Delta Cultura.

Alongside the delivery of the balls, the event also included the formalization of a partnership protocol between the Delta Cultura Educational Centre for and Delegation of the Ministry of Education and Sports of Tarrafal.

The table of the speech was composed by Mr. Project Manager of Delta Culture, Mr. Deputy Mayor of Tarrafal, Mr. National Coordinator of Youth Centres and Mr. Delegate of the Ministry of Education and Sports of Tarrafal, which also had the role of representing the Ministry of Education and Sports. All were on behalf of their institutions, which also were inserted in the distribution plan, and everyone had a little intervention as a thank you for the act of delivering the ball to the Delta Cultural and the institutions.

Yet also noted the performances of local cultural groups, dance groups, young singers among others, as a way of giving more excitement to what was the 11^th anniversary of the Group Batucadeiras of Delta Cultura that has done so much over the years to promote national culture on local, national and international level.
