Over hundred children from Tarrafal  participated in the last paint workshop. At the present it is being discussed that art and music lessons should finally belong to the curriculum of the primary and secondary level schools in Cape Verde. Delta Cultura already works actively in the promotion of creativity in children and young people. As probably one of the first primary schools on the island Santiago the local EBI (primary school) at the main square has already begun to give art lessons in Tarrafal.  Just a reminder their head master Adilson is former Delta Cultura coworker and active member of Delta Cultura. Marisa leads the free painting workshops in the center, at which one does not only paint, but also plays, laughs, dances and sings. Apart from individual painting and drawing, this time e.g. further interiors and the outside wall of one of the centro building was beautified. The material to do so was donated by Delta Cultura Austria. Not only was the action a sight to be seen: Everyone is enthusiastic about the new “paint job”, the center received through the last Workshop. And we have still much more empty spaces. Areas for free development
