Printing workshop at the Education Centre

As part of our series of artistic workshops there is currently a linocut course happening at our Center. Instructor for this workshop is the well known and world famous austrian art-printer Kurt Zein. 10 young people have the honor and pleasure of getting an insight into the world of linocut and relief printing. The first few days they are spending cutting their first printing plates. By the end of this week they will start printing. We will present the results on our blog. This workshop is not only possible due to the presence of Kurt Zein but also thanks to the commitment by him and his wife Marietta in advance of the workshop. A lot of material they donated themselves and the rest was given by different companys. Special thanks go to Tarkett for the donation of 50 lino plates. The printing workshop will continue after the end of the two-week course. This will give young talented people the possibility for a artistic activity and also DCCV the chance to develop more crafts which can be sold in the future and thus contribute to the operational costs of our Center.
