Regarding the need of helping the children in their daily life and in a perspective of being able to help them reach a better future, one of the monitors from Delta Cultura Educational Centre (DCEC), had been in a visit at one the children’s house as part of the school support program. The main goal of the visit, relies on sitting with this child for about a period of one hour or two, to study with her learning and improving mainly difficulties from primary disciplines of Cape Verde, such as Portuguese Language, Mathematics and Integrated Sciences. But in addition, over a dozen of these children, who are part of the DCEC, are studying in DCEC at the end of their short holiday, with other monitors who are still insufficient given the needs of the centre, which wants to bet more closely in monitoring these children.
