s a part of our cooperation with the Swiss football club FC Thun, the Football School Tarrafal had a one week visit from officials and experienced child and youth coaches of FC Thun, Karlsruher SC and the Baden Football Association.
During this one week training course the trainers at Football School Tarrafal received valuable advice from the coaches, the project managers at Delta Cultura learned a lot about the organization of child and yout training at professional football clubs. The children and the youth of the Football School Tarrafal enjoyed the attention of such important coaches from overseas.
The Football School did not only benefit from the training given by the coaches, but the Football School also received a large amount of football material from FC Thun such as: football shoes, footballs, and other training material. In the course of the visit Delta Cultura was also presented with a check with a value of 2,000 SFR. We want to thank our partners, FC Thun (FC Thun macht Schule), Karlsruher SC, Badischer Football Association and Round Table 10 Thun. Delta Cultura Cabo Verde is looking forward to a growing and on-going long-term cooperation. A lively exchange of thoughts and ideas regarding future cooperation possibilities began and these ideas will be content of the cooperation in the coming years.
