About myself

I was born and grew up in Berlin. In April 2005 I went to Bonn to study Ethnology, Geography and Portuguese. Since I finished my studies I am working in a press agency in Bonn.

About Delta Cultura

In my studies I learned a lot about Cape Verde. That is how my wish to stay there for a while and do a practical training in a social project urged. This is how I came to the little village of Tarrafal in 2009 to work with Delta Cultura. Once there I was immediately convinced from the extremely important and good work that Delta Cultura does for the local population, specially for the children and adolescents.

The association is different: free-spirited, creative, colorful. Exactly this concept has to be supported: Delta Cultura Germany was founded in 2010.
