After 5 teaching days our workshop about water utilisation and vegetable growing for 30 boys and girls, financed by ADF finished. The funding from the american foundation was not only for this workshop but also for the fencing of our vegetable garden (so we won’t plant just for the goats) and the instalation of a water pump so we can re-use the wastewater after treatment. Like this one more activity has began at our education center. Now the tomatoes, carrots, parsley, coriander and mango trees just have to grow and grow and grow … The children liked the activity a lot. Highlight was the trip to and through the growing area of Tarrafal and the concluding handing over of the certificates.
